Since 1997, SUNSKIN merged superb handmade workmanship with the very best technological innovations to manufacture tattoo machines that are immediately noted for their superior handling, feel and
performance and for their custom-made personalized versions.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Sunskin mission is to continue providing the professional tattoo artist world-wide with the best equipment in the industry by using top quality design, material and manufacturing processes all selected through years of careful development and customer feed-back.
SUNSKIN MACHINES:
From the very beginning, Sunskin chose to adopt a frame manufacturing process originally scorned by many other producers who felt that the highly-technical processes and considerable set-up cost required were not justified for this application.

SUNSKIN therefore was one of the first to employ a C.N.C. “computer numerical control” milling process to make the frame from a single solid block of metal. This resulted in a more precise frame without any welds or bending of metal while the choice of brass provided substantially reduced vibration/hand-fatigue.The burnishing, polishing and aging processes of each brass frame are all rigorously carried out by hand.


Sunskin coils: A specifically focussed development/testing program allowed SUNSKIN to consistently produce high quality hand-wound coils that are designed to work at a lower voltage to generate less heat and therefore operate at higher efficiency. The immediately obvious results are superb overall feel and performance. Spools are made of bakelite because this quality material provides superior properties compared to the commonly used plastic.Coils are made of oxygen-free copper (ofc) filament.
OFC is the purest form of copper available (99.9% minimum purity) and in terms of electrical
conductivity, it is considered the top grade copper available to the Precision Engineering Industries market. The coils can be personalized with illustration by various artists and themes on pages 18-19.
Binding Posts are made from copper or 825 silver .
Contact Screws are made from 825 silver to provide oxidation-free contact and best performance over time.




Calibrated Springs are made of top quality carbon steel and come in various thicknesses to provide perfect calibration of our machines to suit your applications.
SUNSKIN GUARANTEE:
Each of our tattoo machines comes with its own unique serial number and is sold in its own individual wooden case. Many styles of frames and different artful coverings for the coils are available as shown in the catalogue. We offer custom-made personalized versions of our machines to suit the artist. Every single component of our tattoo machines is manufactured within Sunskin production facilities for a realization of an entirely MADE IN ITALY quality product.
